In case you hadn't heard...THE ultimate man's magazine GQ has come to China. Here's the Print ad from the launch campaign...which was done with a little help from DDB China. More like it please!! Watch out for the December issue featuring our very own Don Draper (aka Dick!)
DDB China Group picked up a Silver Award for it's "McDonald's Online Taobao Store" and a Silver for "IHG Mobile Travel Assistant"
Omnicom Agencies scoooped an amazing sight: 8 out of 12 Golds at last night Digital Media Awards in Beijing. An exceptional night to remember - spent with exceptional people!
Our
lives are so busy that we often miss important dates with friends, birthdays,
reunions...We are distracted! Do you ever feel like your boyfriend or girlfriend
has been ignoring you? He or she is busy with their job and other distractions?
He hasn't noticed that you've had a haircut perhaps? Tribal DDB Shanghai and
McDonald's came up with a fun plan to bring back the love....
She's an experienced and outspoken Auntie who will help improve
your relationship in a minute. This "Love agent's" mission is to help people
tell their lovers that they're not happy. Tell her what you think, and she'll
give your lover a mouthful. Just go onto the website and write down why you
feel ignored. Perhaps your girlfriend used to cook for you and now she stopped?
Does your boyfriend forget your birthday? Do they ignore phone calls?
Help is just an AYI away. She will confront the lover in an email
video message and tell him or her how unhappy their partner is. And she will
give them a chance to make it up by giving them coupons for a McDonald's famous
grilled chicken burger. By tasting this revamped burger and improved version of
the popular burger, your relationship can be repaired too.
Since the campaign began last week there have been nearly 10,000
visits and 1,200 people have sent the Ayi to a friend's email inbox. There has
been no media spend, it's purely from word of mouth.
We know it's not polite to boast...but still...we're proud to say that our suitcases were far heavier when we came back from the China Advertising Awards in Nanning last week. Total metal count: 2 Silvers and 6 Bronzes! Congratulations to everyone at DDB China Group, and especially those who worked directly on the winning campaigns!
