今天Tribal DDB 又添了一员创意猛将Kevin Chiu，他将担任创意总监一职和William共同肩负起提升Tribal DDB创意品质的重任。在Tribal DDB Hong Kong担任创意总监4年的他，曾为香港DDB赢得Digital Media Awards、香港金帆、Effie Hk、Webby Awards等广告奖。日后，他也将为Tribal DDB Shanghai贡献更多精彩的Digital创意，并创造更辉煌的成绩。Kevin除了爱好摄影外，也是个电玩游戏高手，各位电玩同好可以找他在虚拟世界一较高下。

HAPPY LANTERN FESTIVAL!

This is the day we get together, eat dumplings, play fireworks and share our happiness!

Falling on the 15th day of the first month of the Lunar Year, the Lantern Festival takes place under a full moon, and marks the end of Chinese New Year festivities. (though we already started working one week before)

Yuan Xiao and Tang Yuan are balls of glutinous rice, sometimes rolled around a filling of sesame, peanuts, vegetable, or meat. Tang Yuan are often cooked in red-bean or other kinds of soup. The round shape symbolizes wholeness and unity.

Dont't forget to eat dumplings: ) and anyone who has rabbit lamp, just go around the street with it and you'll catch everyone's eye: )

The tiger is considered King of all Animals. So what about a tiger with wings? He would then become Lord of every creature! The first gift was Roger's idea. In Chinese, both "翼" and "意" share the same pronunciation. "翼" Is wing and "意" is creativity. Thus, we use our everlasting creativity to help our clients achieve more success. The "wing" is a bookmark in shape of Auspicious Clouds to bring you good luck!

The second gift was designed by our British interns Max and Ben. They were inspired by Tiger Balm and reworked the packaging to make it a very special gift. The message? We can help you with your aches and pains so you can have a smooth year of the Tiger.Unfortunately due to excessive anti terrorist regulations we aren't able to post it overseas but you can have a look here at the product! The Idea & Execution

A Lunar New Year microsite of a different stripe. One made of hard rocking, heavy metal music of traditional Chinese New Year favourites performed by a heavy metal band. The lyrics were given a ferocious bite. They produced a souvenir CD in leather-jacket material with metal-studs that were delivered as greeting cards.

Online, a band of guitar playing, drum thrashing tigers were in performance. A motion-aware game allowed visitors to "head-bang" to the music, to get their fortunes told. And true to Chinese tradition, there were 4-digit lucky numbers given to would-be punters. The site went live on 1 Feb 2010. It was featured on the Chinese pop radio station 93.3FM this week. The blogs caught on to it. In less than 5 days, the Metal Tiger has roamed across 54 countries, reaching as far as Spain, Argentina and the Isle of Man.

The Results

Some clients loved it; some absolutely hated it. It was too edgy, too upbeat, eh ... too metal rock! Thankfully we had the other idea: The Chinese New Year ang pow. It comes in purple, with a friendly cat with upturned ears (The kids will love it!) Either way you like it, have a Happy Chinese New Year!

UNIQLO COLLECTION

UNIQLO 这一次直接把T型台搬上了网站，让用户有了更为直观的体验。乍一看似乎没太多技术含量，但是请看：多人走秀的视频一共有140段左右，每个模特单独又有20多段（共68人），总共的视频是千位这个数量级。先是拍摄的工作量就已经让人头大了，还要把每段视频的模特位置信息track下来为flash所用，后期工作庞大的信息量也是很考验执行功力的。
