Jit has a blog he actually writes himself, a Facebook account that's active, and hungrily subscribes to numerous technology feeds. He also owns every game console known to man, is the first to own every Apple product that rears its head into view, and installs every imaginable widget and mobile application he even hears whispered about. We think that qualifies him as a "digital" type of guy. It probably started with him as a computer science graduate and his first job developing structural technology-driven plans (aka designing networks for businesses). Then it was headlong into the new media age in 1995, when he helped the Bates Advertising Group launch Bates Interactive (later renamed to XM Malaysia). He nurtured it from a boutique interactive agency focusing on entry level digital development, into a full-scale digital agency. In his 10 years with XM Malaysia, he steered the agency to win multiple digital awards for brands such as Toyota and Sony, with ground-breaking creative ideas delivering delightful user experiences.
He joined OgilvyOne Singapore in 2005 to further his digital and relationship marketing skills, enhancing his naturally right-brained talents. As Business Director at OgilvyOne, he managed a portfolio of local and regional clients, tasked with driving new digital initiatives & CRM programs. In 2006, he moved to head up RMG Connect in Beijing, a joint venture between JWT and Ogilvy, establishing the agency operations and managing key technology-based clients. During his tenure in Beijing, he grew the agency's operations, client base, and strengthened its capabilities and disciplines.
