Norman acquired over 20 years of commercial experience, of which 15 years are in senior finance positions of marketing communications business, managing business operations and specializing system re-engineering, organizational realignment, efficiency optimization, as well as merger & acquisitions.
Norman began his finance career in marketing communications in 1997 when he joined Bozell Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. Working through network merger, he was appointed as Regional Financial Controller of FCB Asia Pacific in 1999 before relocating to Shanghai in 2001 to take up the challenge as Finance Director of FCB China. From 2006 to 2007, Norman worked for Ogilvy where he served as Group Finance Director in the Ogilvy China team. Prior to joining DDB, Norman was in the capacity of CFO of Draftfcb Greater China from 2007 to 2011.
Prior to cultivating his career in marketing communications business, Norman gained financial operations experience from multinational enterprises such as Sony Music and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Norman was born in Hong Kong, received his BSBA in Accounting and Finance from the Ohio State University in the U.S. and MBA from University of Edinburgh, U.K. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Certified General Accountants Association of Canada.
