Victor Ng
Executive Creative Director
DDB Shanghai

Victor was a fresh economics graduate when he decided that he was more right-brained than left.

Against the odds, he managed to sneak into Leo Burnett Singapore as a copywriter. He had a surprisingly auspicious start - winning Young Creative of the Year at Asia-Pacific Adfest, and ranking in the Top 10 at the Young Guns International Awards.

In 2006, he moved to Mother London, working on Miller, Orange and Boots. He also left a small industry footprint - addressing the D&AD President's Forum on the subject of Asian creativity, and contributing to D&AD's Flag Project its sole Asian piece.

Victor has won hundreds of awards from Gunn Report, Campaign UK and major industry competitions for his work on brands like Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, Philips, Coca-Cola and Nikon. Additionally, he has had the honor of serving on the judging panels of D&AD, Cannes, Clio, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Spikes Asia and Asia-Pacific Adfest, where he was Jury President of Outdoor.

In 2008, he became Executive Creative Director of Euro RSCG Singapore and quickly turned the once-pedestrian agency into the network's most awarded office and South-East Asia Agency of the Year at the 2009 Campaign Agency of the Year Awards.
In 2009, he was nominated for Asia Creative of the Year by Campaign, Creative Director of the Year by the Singapore Hall of Fame, and Most Influential Creative Director by the Institute of Advertising Singapore.

Victor joined DDB China Group in 2011, where he is responsible for overseeing and shaping creative direction in the Shanghai office.
