DDB China Group is one of the most awarded creative agencies in China and consistently ranks in the top 10 rankings, as determined by Longyin Review and China Advertising Magazine. 

  • In 2010, DDB China Group was named Ad Age China's Agency of the Year.
  • In 2010, DDB China Group was named Greater China Creative Agency of the Year at the Campaign Agency of the Year awards.
  • In 2010, Tribal DDB Shanghai was named Campaign's Greater China Digital Agency of the Year.
  • In 2010, Chief Creative Officer Michael Dee was named Campaign's Greater China Creative of the Year.
  • President and CEO Dick van Motman was the first expatriate to be awarded "Most Outstanding Person of the Year" by CCTV and China Advertising in 2010.
  • President and CEO Dick van Motman was named one of 30 "Agency Innovators" of the Year by the Internationalist Magazine in 2010.

Cannes

Based on total awards won at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes over the last 19 years, DDB has emerged as the most creative of the world's multinational networks, winning 621 Cannes Lions between 1990 and 2010.

DDB China's commitment to creativity and effectiveness has been reflected in the Agency winning its first Gold Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival for its Green Pedestrian Crossing campaign for the China Environmental Protection Foundation - the second only Gold Lion ever awarded to an agency in Greater China. The Green Pedestrian Crossing campaign went on to win two Grand Prix awards, at both the 2010 UK Green Awards and the 2010 China 4A Golden Seal Creative Awards.
